About "SANGIZA-Digital Innovation Training (DIT): Tech Skills-4-Digital Youth Ambassadors Program 2024"
The SANGIZA-DIT Program, a youth-empowerment initiative under the SANGIZA project, is a
comprehensive training program focused on equipping young people with essential digital skills
and fostering sustainable tech practices. Implemented by the Tuti Mutabazi Foundation
(TMF)/SANGIZA Project through the ITU Generation Connect Young Leadership Program (GCYLP)
in partnership with Huawei, this program aims to empower the next generation of innovators to
create impactful digital solutions.
The program is open to current students and recent graduates from accredited universities in
Rwanda, particularly those pursuing degrees in STEM fields such as Engineering, Environment,
Architecture, Design, and ICT/IT. Applicants should be committed to completing online training
courses and attending in-person training sessions if selected.
The program is divided into two stages: an online component covering essential digital topics
like AI, sustainable tech, design thinking, and UI/UX, followed by an in-person training in Kigali
for selected participants. This second stage focuses on practical skills development, project
refinement, and hands-on training.
No enrollment fees are required for selected participants, as the program is fully funded.
